Sustaining Dialogues through Project-Based and Self-Directed Learning

We hope everyone can join the MATSOL Private Language Schools/Intensive English Programs special interest group for our Winter Workshop on Thursday, Match 8th from 6-8pm at FLS Boston. Katja Davidoff and Carol Pineiro, from Boston University's Center for English Language and Orientation Programs department (CELOP) will be leading the workshop entitled, "Sustaining Dialogues through Project-Based and Self-Directed Learning". This workshop will focus on how utilizing project-based and self-directed learning with ESL students presents a challenge to teachers who are not sure how to define and create parameters that incite rigor and growth. The presenters will outline how they led their classes to do this through shared inquiry and engaging hands-on activities. Again, we hope you will join us for insightful dialogue, refreshments, catching up with colleagues, and networking.

Agendas, meeting minutes, and other resources will be available soon!
